This article highlights the Safe Families for Children program, a program designed to address the challenge of socially isolated and overwhelmed caregivers. The program works through churches to give hope and support to families in distress by providing host families that allow parents to place their children while they deal with a broad range of challenges. The placing families can opt to reunify with their children at any time. 5 references.
