This module, comprising three 3-hour sessions, is intended to enhance participants' knowledge and skills, enabling them to fulfill the tasks of an education advocate and improve educational outcomes for youth in care. This includes youth living with foster parents or with kin. The information may also be helpful to adoptive parents and to staff of residential group care facilities.The module focuses primarily on the needs of youth age 12 and older, although some of the information (such as study tips) may be helpful for younger youth.
