This federally funded tip sheet discusses strategies Citizen Review Panels (CRPs) should use to reach out to external groups and foster communication with them. Tips include: be aware of the CRP mission; polish the central message on the mission of the CRP; connect individual CRP members with external groups; and do collaborative projects with external groups. A case example of strategies used by the Alaska CRP to reach out to numerous stakeholders is highlighted and a list of additional resources is included. 1 reference.
