This online interactive data book is a descriptive statistical resource of the services provided to the people of the State of Texas by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) beginning in fiscal year 2016 and updated regularly. It includes links to information on statewide intake, including the number of contacts received by referral, number of contacts over time, and sources of reports of child abuse and neglect. Information is also provided on adult protective services, child care licensing, and child protective services.
