This network data collection instrument lists organizations in Long Beach/South Los Angeles County that are involved directly or indirectly in the provision of early care and education and other child and family support services for the child welfare population. Each of these organizations has been invited to participate in the South County/Long Beach Early Care Systems Advisory Committee. The instrument asks the extent to which organizations are currently involved with or linked to the others on the list in order to inform the South County/Long Beach Early Care Systems Advisory Committee’s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships for providing a full range of early care and education and other support services to infants and young children in the child welfare system, their families, and caregivers. Six types of involvement that an organization may have with these other agencies are listed, including links through the exchange of information, pooled funding, shared staff, shared space or other shared resources, sending client referrals, and receiving client referrals. Users of the survey are also asked to indicate the benefits and drawbacks of the collaboration with other organizations.
