This document explains how data will be collected to evaluate a federally funded program designed to train Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) social workers and early childhood education (ECE) providers in collaborative practices. It notes data will be collected on whether there was an increase in the number and percentage of DCFS children in Long Beach referred to high-quality ECE programs as a result of the project, and whether there was an increase in the number and percentage of children living in Long Beach enrolled in high-quality ECE programs as a result of the project. The data collection process is reviewed.
