This article highlights the launching of the nation’s first ever college for foster youth. It explains KVC Health Systems plans to open its campus in January 2018 in Montgomery, West Virginia, with the goal of admitting 50 initial students and growing slowly into a campus of 500 with a staff of 200. The college will initially be available for foster youth from West Virginia but might one day be opened to students from other States.
