This article highlights the South Bronx Mott Haven Academy Charter School, a school that addresses the additional needs of foster children by co-locating child welfare services within the school building. The benefits of surrounding children with positive and preventative services so they can develop emotionally and academically are discussed, as well as the key features of the school.
