A study investigated the effects of Independent Living Services (ILS) on educational attainment and the employment in a sample of 4,206 foster care youth. Findings indicate foster youth using ILS are significantly more likely to compete high school education, have a post-secondary education, and work full time in emerging adulthood. 4 tables and 51 references.
