This 7 minute, 51 second DVD is designed to intensify outreach activities and boost the enrollment of American Indian and Alaska Native children in the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), Medicare, and Medicaid. It notes the lack of health insurance among native communities and features American Indians and Alaska Natives discussing the benefits of the program. The commitment by the federal government to ensure health services for native communities is discussed, as well as the role of Indian Health Service centers and types of services that are provided through the programs. It is explained that by signing up for these programs more funding can be used to expand tribal health services, and native communities are urged to access the programs.
