Findings address gender and pre-traumatic event factors and gender and post-traumatic event factors. It is noted that research has under-attended to male social bonding and attachment processing and the vulnerability to male victims in terms of conceptualizing, disclosing, and help-seeking behaviors for their sexual victimization experiences. 37 references.
