This chapter provides a review of the research on those treatments for childhood trauma deemed “Well-Supported by Research Evidence” or “Supported by Research Evidence” by the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare. Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is explored in greater detail as this model has the strongest evidence base among treatments for childhood trauma. 41 references.
