This brief explains the COVID-19 is creating challenges on young people who experienced (or are experiencing) foster care, especially for those without family support. A list of 10 resources is provided foster youth and alumni. The resources address COVID-19 symptoms and guidelines for prevention, moving support for displaced students, accessing free laptops, support for displaced college students, COVID-19 resources in Oregon, free cell phones, Florida resources on finances, free legal answers from the American Bar Association, and COVID-19 and family law issues. Additional lists are provided of two public policy resources, and three resources for child welfare professionals, foster parents, and caregivers.
