This website explains courts around the country are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in numerous ways, working to balance public health and safety with access and openness. It then provides resources, news, court orders, and webinars relating to the challenges courts face during the COVID-19 pandemic that have been compiled by the National Center for State Courts. Resources address: treatment courts and COVID-19; the use of virtual hearings; State court actions in relationship to COVID-19; creating a benchbook for preparing for a pandemic and the Texas benchbook; findings from the 2019 National Pandemic Summit; lessons learned from the 2014 Maine Ebola case; research findings on court staff expectations from the 2008 bird flu outbreak; and resources from the American Bar Association.
