This annual report describes the activities and accomplishments of the federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency’s (OJJDP’s) National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC) and the Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Network for Fiscal Year 2019. It begins by explaining NTTAC acts as the broker, facilitator, and coordinator of all TTA services and resources on behalf of OJJDP. OJJDP’s NTTAC directly supports the field by brokering TTA requests, managing web-based platforms such as TTA360, providing marketing and outreach support to providers, and operating sophisticated virtual learning and information-sharing platforms to support OJJDP and its TTA providers. NTTAC also operates OJJDP’s TTA Help Desk, which provides information for professionals in the field. Accomplishments for the year are described in the areas: of TTA Network collaboration and coordination, including supports for the juvenile justice field; TTA services, including supporting and building capacity for the field using webinar technology; and outreach and dissemination, including field outreach and resource dissemination and social media efforts. The report closes with a synopsis of anticipated Fiscal Year 2020 work in the areas of supporting law enforcement and prosecutors, working with States and local jurisdictions, and promoting dissemination of best practices and evidence-based programs.
