This chapter highlights an empirically based system of parenting and family support called the Triple P—Positive Parenting Program that adopts a whole-of-population approach for the strengthening of parenting and the prevention of child maltreatment. It discusses the rationale for a population approach, the Triple P system, and evaluation findings that support the Triple P strategies. 50 references.
