This article discusses a study that examined the views of parents (n=7 families) about medical reports sent to them following a child protection medical examination. Ethical considerations in conducting the study are addressed, as well as the need for clear communication with parents and their families for effective care, to enhance patient satisfaction, and to help build a relationship of trust. 1 table and 13 references.
