This is the second edition of the book, Childhood Maltreatment, which is part of the Advances in Psychotherapy—Evidence-Based Practice series offered by the publisher. The purpose of this text is to provide an overview of child maltreatment, the diagnostics and indications of, and the treatment for, child maltreatment. The book is divided into eight chapters, with the first four addressing the above mentioned overviews, followed by a case vignette, recommendations for further reading, references, and an appendix of tools and resources. The authors are well-known and recognized for their work in the field of child maltreatment and its treatment.
